Well respected Las Vegas litigator and transactional business attorney Aaron Lovaas is the newest partner to join the ever-growing business law and litigation practice at Newmeyer Dillion’s Las Vegas office. Lovaas brings deep knowledge and experience in the areas of business law, litigation and transactions combined with over a decade of owning and managing his own Las Vegas law firm.

Las Vegas managing partner Nathan Owens explained why he is so excited by the addition of Lovaas: “Aaron’s unique perspective as a business owner, accomplished litigator, and seasoned corporate attorney ensures his ability to effectively tailor his advice to his clients’ specific situations. He has significant experience representing a broad range of clients from local businesses to those national and international companies with interests in Las Vegas.”

In addition to business litigation, Lovaas’ diverse knowledge and skill encompasses corporate issues of finance, acquisition, securities, mergers and real estate. Lovaas has been featured on the Mountain States Super Lawyers list for eight years in a row with regular selections to various top attorney lists within Las Vegas and surrounding states.

Lovaas joins the Las Vegas office along with recent hires, associate Aaron B. Shumway, who practices in the areas of construction litigation, employment and real estate, and associate Greg Diktakis, who practices in the area of construction defect litigation and real estate. Together, these three continue the significant growth and depth of the Newmeyer & Dillion Las Vegas branch.
