LITIGATION CLERK

Walnut Creek, CA

The Litigation Clerk will work closely with, and under the immediate direction of, paralegals and the Executive Director, with some exposure to attorneys. The ideal candidate can expect to assist in filing, indexing, sorting, scanning, photo copying, and labeling, in addition to to preparation and assembly of file binders for depositions and/or trials. Learning and understanding the firm's document management software and naming convention will be crucial to success in this role.

EXPERIENCED LEGAL ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Newport Beach, CA

In a friendly environment that promotes collaboration and knowledge sharing, the Legal Administrative Assistant (formerly entitled Legal Secretary) will provide support to various partners and associates of the firm.

A big part of the role will include document creation, which will require transcribing, composing drafts, revising, proofreading and maintaining a variety of legal documents (i.e. memoranda, discovery, pleadings, etc.).

Administrative tasks will necessitate filing, coding and organizing documents, entering client billable time, and opening new files. Coordination of travel, conferences and depositions is also to be expected.

Apart from exercising professionalism and sound judgment in their daily duties, the ideal candidate must be able to proactively demonstrate effective teamwork and communication with team members and all firm personnel, adhering to the Firm’s Four Pillars of Like, Trust, Respect and Loyalty.
