Will O'Neill Joins Newmeyer Dillion as Partner
July 31, 2025 – Business and real estate law firm Newmeyer Dillion is pleased to announce that Will O'Neill has joined the firm’s Newport Beach office as a partner.

For almost two decades, O'Neill has worked with clients in many areas of litigation in the state, federal, and private arenas. His eye toward creative resolution to complicated problems has been greatly appreciated by clients. Will's philosophy around his legal approach revolves around partnering with his clients and aligning his goals with theirs to effectively solve problems on their behalf.
Will O'Neill's effectiveness as a litigator is enhanced by his strong commitment to both his profession and to the broader community. He contributes back to the legal community as an elected Director for the Orange County Bar Association, past President of the Board of Governors for the University of California Hastings College of Law, past President of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers (OC), and a Trustee of the Celtic Bar Association. On a more public-facing front, Will O'Neill is the current Chairman of the Republican Party of Orange County, a former two-time Mayor of Newport Beach, and a former Chairman of the San Joaquin Hills Transportation Corridor Agency (2022-2023).
O'Neill received his B.A. from Stanford University (2004) and his J.D. from University of California, Hastings College of Law (2007).
