Harley Zieper is an associate in Newmeyer Dillion's Newport Beach office.
Harley's legal practice is focused on litigation, contracts, and specialized work for the firm's Government, Land Use, and Environmental ("GLUE") Group. For example, he works on high-profile federal litigation involving contamination in all three media (soil, soil vapor, and groundwater) involving industrial solvents like PCE and TCE. Further, Harley works on development issues and challenges with City regulation and land use decisions. He also provides assistance on overcoming hurdles in transactional and finance matters, thereby helping Newmeyer Dillion's clients get their deals closed and built.
In law school at the University of California, Irvine, Harley achieved excellence, including awards for highest class performance in Corporate Finance, Environmental Law Clinic, and Advanced Environmental Law Clinic, as well as awards for second-highest class performance in Evidence and Remedies.

- Annual paddler in the Ben Did Go 30-mile channel crossing from Catalina Island to Newport Beach, raising money for ocean safety and awareness.
- Saturday Academy of Law
- Volunteer leader in an education program which gives high school aged students an opportunity to learn about the legal profession and improve their reading and writing skills.
